as time went on, i realized that some things that seemed difficult at first could actually be easier than i thought. for example, if i wanted to draw something specific, my parents would have to coordinate with me. sometimes, i had to wait a few minutes before they could complete their picture. it was okay because i knew I was doing something good and i didn’t want anyone else to feel down. even though things were a bit tough for them, at least i wasn't burning them out.
one day, i was helping my little brother with his homework. he had this project in front of us that looked super complicated, but we weren’t sure where to start. as i thought about how to approach it, I felt a sense of pride because i was putting effort into something that maybe wasn't easy. i knew it was hard, but at least my part was contributing positively to the outcome.
the worst thing happened when my brother tried to pull me out for help with his homework. he asked, "can you do this?" I hesitated because it seemed too bad. But then I remembered what we had learned about patience and giving someone a chance. I thought about how i would always push forward even if things were tough for them. that was the best decision of all.
after finishing his project, i felt guilty. maybe it wasn’t so hard for him after all. but i also realized that this kind of thing happened to me too often. some projects seemed really complicated, but at least I knew that if I tried my hardest and didn't give up, there would be a way out. even if it was hard for them.
